Baseball Game Preview: Uintah Utes vs. Timpanogos Timberwolves

For the second straight game, Uintah will face off against Timpanogos. Uintah will be playing in front of their home fans against Timpanogos at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Uintah is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Uintah came into this matchup off a tough six-run defeat on Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Timpanogos by a score of 13-11 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Utes have suffered since March 14th.

For Timpanogos' part, Isacc Miller was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs Miller has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Dash McCann, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances.

Timpanogos' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Uintah, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.
