Vale lost against Fruitland back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 3-2. The Vikings' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Vale wouldn't go down easily and took Fruitland into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-9, 25-14, 16-25, 15-8.

Vale's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Fruitland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Vale will face off against Pendleton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fruitland, they will take on Payette at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
