Basketball Recap: North Bullitt Comes Up Short

North Bullitt was the 59-48 winner over Elizabethtown when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The North Bullitt Eagles were beaten by the Elizabethtown Panthers 90-38 on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Panthers are ranked 42nd).

North Bullitt has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season. As for Elizabethtown, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.

North Bullitt wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-58 defeat against Nelson County on the 11th. As for Elizabethtown, they have also already played their next contest, an 85-36 win against Larue County on the 11th.
