Armstrong hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They strolled past the Freeport Yellowjackets with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 53-36. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the River Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Armstrong to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacob Szep, who went 9-for-12 on his way to 21 points. What's more, Szep also posted a 75% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jaydon Oliver, who posted 13 points.
