Basketball Recap: CrossPointe Christian Academy Comes Up Short

CrossPointe Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 78-53 to the Central Christian Crusaders. The Cavaliers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Crusaders from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

It was another big night for Rocky Steidinger, who dropped a double-double on 41 points and 21 boards for Central Christian. Steidinger's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Avery Steidinger, who posted 13 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

CrossPointe Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Central Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.

CrossPointe Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Community Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Central Christian has already played their next matchup (against CrossPointe Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
