Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Presley Meyer and Madelyn Adams Lead Trinity Lutheran to Victory

There's no place like home for Trinity Lutheran, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Center Grove Trojans on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The contest marked the Cougars' most dominant victory of the season so far.

While Trinity Lutheran won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-15.

Trinity Lutheran was led to victory by Madelyn Adams and Presley Meyer. Adams had 22 digs and one assist, while Meyer had 13 digs and two aces. Those 13 digs gave Meyer a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Trinity Lutheran was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Center Grove only served four aces.

Trinity Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Center Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Trinity Lutheran is headed away from home for the first time to take on Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Center Grove, they will welcome Avon at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
