Baseball Preview: Carter Cowboys vs. Lincoln Tigers
For the second straight game, Carter will face off against Lincoln. The Cowboys will venture away from home to face off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Having struggled with 12 losses in a row, Carter turned things around against Lincoln on Tuesday. They walked away with a 10-5 win over the Tigers. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cowboys considering their one-run performance the match before.
Jermiah Castillo made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out ten over 4.1 innings pitched. Castillo was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.
