Volleyball Recap: Red Oak Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Red Oak had won two straight games and Maleah Ellis did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Hawks blew past the Kaufman Lions 3-0 with plenty of help from Ellis, who had 19 assists and six digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-18.

Red Oak's win bumped their record up to 26-10. As for Kaufman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-19.

Red Oak wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Ennis on the 10th. As for Kaufman, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Crandall on the 10th.
