Football Recap: Algona Has No Trouble Against Waverly-Shell Rock

The Algona Bulldogs got the win against the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks on Friday by a conclusive 28-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Algona's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Waverly-Shell Rock, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Algona and Waverly-Shell Rock will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bulldogs will face off against rival MOC-Floyd Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Waverly-Shell Rock is set to challenge their familiar foe Mason City at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
