Basketball Recap: Minneota Comes Up Short

Minneota lost against Hancock back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Minneota Vikings had to suffer through a 84-42 loss at the hands of the Hancock Owls.

Minneota's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Hancock, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

Minneota will head out to challenge Lakeview at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hancock, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Parkers Prairie at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hancock knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Parkers Prairie likes a good challenge.
