Volleyball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Union Academy Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Redhawks of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-7, 25-6.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Union Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monroe will welcome Mount Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union Academy, they will square off against Queen's Grant at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
