Recap: Bob Hope Eagles vs. Buna Cougars
The Bob Hope Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 49-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Buna. Bob Hope has not had much luck with Buna recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Bob Hope's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daniel Canales, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jorge Garcia, who scored 11 points.
Bob Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Buna, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
Bob Hope won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent at 2:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Non Varsity Tournament Opponent is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Buna, they will take on Woodville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
