Basketball Recap: Braylon Meyn Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Doniphan West

There's no place like home for Hanover, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 57-31 margin over the Doniphan West Mustangs on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 70-56 back in January.

Hanover got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Braylon Meyn out in front who went 5-for-6 en route to 15 points and five rebounds. Meyn's morning made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Kadrick Cohorst was another key player, putting up ten points.

Hanover's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Doniphan West, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-16.

Hanover didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 119-39 victory against Washington County on the 18th. As for Doniphan West, they have also already played their next contest, a 46-35 loss against Perry-Lecompton on the 17th.
