Volleyball Recap: Powers Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Powers lost against North Douglas back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cruisers fell just short of North Douglas by a score of 2-1.

Powers' loss ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3. As for North Douglas, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Powers wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against East Linn Christian Academy on the 27th. As for North Douglas, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Ione/Arlington on the 27th.
