Basketball Game Preview: Mt. Pleasant Christian Lions vs. Master's Hand Christian Warriors

The Mt. Pleasant Christian Lions will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Master's Hand Christian Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Pleasant Christian will be strutting in after a win while Master's Hand Christian will be coming in after a loss.

Mt. Pleasant Christian will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating East Central HomeSchool, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Lions breezed past the Patriots to the tune of 62-20 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Mt. Pleasant Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chloe Bodie led the charge by putting up 16 points. Those 16 points gave Bodie a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Parish, who posted 13 points.

Meanwhile, Master's Hand Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by Rocket City 47-6 on Friday. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Everything came up roses for Mt. Pleasant Christian against Master's Hand Christian in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 54-20 victory. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
