South Pointe has won 24 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Lancaster has won 24 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The South Pointe Stallions will welcome the Lancaster Bruins at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in South Pointe's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten contests.
If South Pointe beats Lancaster with 90 points on Wednesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. South Pointe claimed a resounding 90-36 victory over Wren. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 34 points or more this season.

South Pointe can attribute much of their success to Kaleigh Lucas, who shot 5-for-9 from deep and almost dropped a double-double with 28 points and nine assists, and JaNyia Cunningham, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 14 rebounds. Lucas' evening made it nine games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kemoni Hardy, who posted eight points along with five boards and four steals.
South Pointe smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 24 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lancaster had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Fighting Tigers by a score of 52-40.
Lancaster's win came from a few key players South Pointe will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Eliza Baskins, who had 15 points and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kemarja Peay, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Lancaster has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.9 points over those games. South Pointe's win bumped their record up to 28-0.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: South Pointe has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 32.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Lancaster struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.3 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything came up roses for South Pointe against Lancaster in their previous matchup on February 7th, as the team secured a 66-22 victory. In that game, South Pointe amassed a halftime lead of 40-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
