Basketball Recap: Randon Fields Key Part of Team Effort in Hawks Win

Harvester Christian Academy won the last time they faced Cross Keys and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hawks came out on top against the Phoenix by a score of 43-30.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harvester Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Randon Fields, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Ginn, who put up 12 points.

Harvester Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Cross Keys, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. After both having extra time off, Harvester Christian Academy and Johnson Ferry Christian Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2026. The Hawks will need to watch out since the Saints have now posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for Cross Keys, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Howard at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2026. The Hawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Phoenix surely won't give up without a fight.
