West Jefferson never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Bishop Ready Silver Knights with a sharp 10-0 win. The Roughriders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

Jenna Mannon was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Payton Kincade, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Zoey Brown was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

West Jefferson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .378 or higher in three consecutive contests.

West Jefferson's record now sits at 11-1. As for Bishop Ready, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
