Soccer Recap: Mountain Range's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Mountain Range took an eight-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Brighton, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs won by a goal and slipped past the Bulldogs 1-0. The victory was some much needed relief for Mountain Range as it spelled an end to their 11-match losing streak.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Joshua Tsonev, who's now up to two this season.

Mountain Range's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-11. As for Brighton, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mountain Range is set to take on their familiar foe Prairie View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brighton will square off against rival Boulder at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
