Volleyball Recap: Quincy Takes a Loss

Quincy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Brockton Boxers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Boxers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on May 1st.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Brockton scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-27, 25-22.

Quincy's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Brockton, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

As of now, neither Quincy nor the Boxers have any future games scheduled.
