Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Evangelical Christian). They were the clear victor by a 74-49 margin over The Village School of Naples Knights on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Sentinels who have now won three contests in a row.

Evangelical Christian found their leader in sophomore Zachary St. John, who went 8 for 14 en route to 24 points along with seven boards and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points St. John has scored all season. David Morris was another key player, going 5 of 7 on his way to 14 points and eight rebounds.

Evangelical Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for The Village School of Naples, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Evangelical Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Imagine School at North Port at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Imagine School at North Port is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.7 points per game this season. As for The Village School of Naples, they will face off against Naples Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
