Basketball Recap: Affton Comes Up Short

Affton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 37-25 to the Bayless Bronchos. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bronchos from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

Affton's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Bayless, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5.

Affton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-14 defeat against Brentwood on the 12th. Bayless has also already played their next matchup (against Hancock), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
