Soccer Recap: Hauser Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Hauser was not quite Central Christian Academy's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Hauser have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Nick Mann, who's now up to 17 this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Hauser and nudges their season record down to 9-6-1. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 11-3-1 Southwestern (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 60.6% over those games). As for Central Christian Academy, they moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Hauser has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 defeat against Southwestern on the 6th. As for Central Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Seton Catholic on the 3rd.
