Preview: Bradwell Institute Tigers vs. Coffee Trojans

The Bradwell Institute Tigers's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Coffee Trojans at 8:00 p.m. on December 15th. Bradwell Institute has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 457 points over their last seven matchups.

Bradwell Institute has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season. They blew past Ware County 70-50. Given Bradwell Institute's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Ware County is ranked 109th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bradwell Institute got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tahshaun Frasier out in front who scored 19 points along with six assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Frasier has scored at least 25% of Bradwell Institute's points. Another player making a difference was Christopher Perry, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Coffee pushed their score all the way to 63 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Greenbrier by a score of 66-63. Coffee has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Junitho Benson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. He also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Paulk, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.

Even though they lost, Coffee were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Bradwell Institute pushed their record up to 7-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Coffee, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Bradwell Institute didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Coffee when the teams last played back in February, but they still walked away with a 57-53 win. Will Bradwell Institute repeat their success, or does Coffee have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
