Meanwhile, Thoreau scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Navajo Prep by a score of 66-64. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (59), the Hawks still had to take the loss.

Thoreau's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Tohatchi, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2.
