Softball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ider last Tuesday, Skyline came back down to earth. The Vikings lost 13-6 to the Hornets on Wednesday. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 9-3.

Skyline has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-23 record this season. As for Ider, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-9-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyline will venture away from home to square off against New Hope at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ider, they will head out to take on North Sand Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
