Volleyball Recap: Sunshine Bible Academy Comes Up Short

Sunshine Bible Academy and Herreid/Selby squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Sunshine Bible Academy had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Wolverines.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-5, 25-17.

Sunshine Bible Academy's offense was headlined by Soleil Mickelson and Ciera Mickelson, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Breanna Thieman and her two assists.

Sunshine Bible Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 17 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-22 record this season. As for Herreid/Selby, they pushed their record up to 24-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Sunshine Bible Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Herreid/Selby, they will take on North Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
