Volleyball Recap: Washington-Wilkes Comes Up Short on the Road Against Oglethorpe County

Washington-Wilkes had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Oglethorpe County Patriots. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 15 in a row.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-3.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Oglethorpe County, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Coincidentally, Washington-Wilkes and Oglethorpe County will both be playing Monroe Area the next time they take the court. The Patriots will host the Purple Hurricanes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
