Volleyball Recap: Mill Creek Takes a Loss

Mill Creek lost against Seckinger back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Mill Creek ultimately came up short, they really made Seckinger work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 26-24.

Gracie Ridgway paced Mill Creek's offense, picking up seven kills. Ridgway got some help from Sara Rogers and her ten assists. Lauren Hicks and Ayla Graveran kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Mill Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 16-15. As for Seckinger, their win bumped their record up to 16-10.

Mill Creek has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Dacula on the 23rd. As for Seckinger, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Roswell on the 23rd.
