Baseball Game Preview: Miller Falcons vs. Fisher Catholic Irish

The Miller Falcons will take on the Fisher Catholic Irish at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Miller lost 12-2 to Fairfield Christian Academy on Friday. The Falcons have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Miller saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryley Post, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Tyler Hartley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Fisher Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against Millersport, falling 11-3.

Miller now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Fisher Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Miller was able to grind out a solid win over Fisher Catholic in their previous meeting on April 8th, winning 9-5. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Irish turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
