Volleyball Game Preview: Northview Academy Cougars vs. Pigeon Forge Tigers

The Northview Academy Cougars will square off against the Pigeon Forge Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Northview Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Fulton. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Northview Academy was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 25-0.

Meanwhile, Pigeon Forge made easy work of Austin-East on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Pigeon Forge walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-19, 25-18.

Pigeon Forge's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Northview Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 16-5.
