Volleyball Recap: Founders Classical Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Founders Classical Academy was the 0-0 winner over Awaken Christian when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Centurions fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2 on Friday.

Founders Classical Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 22-25, 20-25, 25-9, 15-11.

Founders Classical Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Awaken Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-11.

Coincidentally, Founders Classical Academy and Awaken Christian will both be playing GV Christian the next time they take the court. The Lions will host the Guardians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Centurions will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
