Baseball Preview: Brownsburg Bulldogs vs. Franklin Central Flashes
The Brownsburg Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Franklin Central Flashes at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brownsburg's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Franklin Central's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Brownsburg's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Canyon Koonce, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. Koonce is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Jackson Wagner also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Franklin Central can bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Indianapolis Bishop Chatard a 3-0 shutout.
Franklin Central also got a great performance from Ryan Lovell as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 4.2 innings pitched.
At the plate, Nevan Tutterow was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Nate Schwark was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs.
Franklin Central picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-13. As for Brownsburg, their record is now 9-4.
