Basketball Game Preview: McDaniel Mountain Lions vs. Benson Tech Astros

McDaniel is 0-10 against Benson Tech since February of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The McDaniel Mountain Lions will be playing at home against the Benson Tech Astros at 6:30 p.m.

McDaniel is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 51-10 loss at the hands of Franklin. The matchup marked the Mountain Lions 's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Benson Tech). They claimed a resounding 101-19 victory over Roosevelt. The win was nothing new for the Astros as they're now sitting on six straight.

Benson Tech has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for McDaniel, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
