Football Recap: Niwot Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Niwot had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They and the Thomas Jefferson Spartans were almost perfectly matched up, but the Cougars suffered a 36-35 defeat. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Niwot will square off against Centaurus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Thomas Jefferson, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Mountain Range at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
