The Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons will head out on the road to take on the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Piedmont Community Charter will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy extended their winning streak to four on Monday. The Gryphons blew past Queen's Grant 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy took every set by at least 25 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Piedmont Community Charter won the last time they faced Carolina International and Shelby Ostrander did her part to make sure it happened again. The Patriots blew past the Comets 3-0 on Monday thanks in part to Ostrander, who had five aces. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more aces the last three times she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Piedmont Community Charter was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-8, 25-11.

Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy's record is now 16-6. As for Piedmont Community Charter, their record now sits at 16-4.
