Greenway had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They walked away with a 51-38 win over the Thunderbird Titans. This was payback for the Demons, who suffered a 45-40 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Greenway to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alexandra Vazquez, who went 9 for 20 en route to 20 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. Vazquez has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlotte Buchanan, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards.

Greenway smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 18 offensive rebounds in three consecutive matches.

Greenway is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for Thunderbird, they dropped their record down to 9-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Greenway will venture away from home to square off against Paradise Honors at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Paradise Honors' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games. As for Thunderbird, they will host Shadow Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
