Soccer Recap: Camden Starts off Right with Win over Sandy Creek

Camden took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Sandy Creek Comets as they made off with a 5-2 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

Camden hit Sandy Creek with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emily Gilsenan (2), Gabriella Kohli, Sophia Barker, and Kylie Andrews.

This is the second loss in a row for Sandy Creek and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Camden will head out to take on Oneida at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sandy Creek, they will square off against Thousand Islands at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
