Basketball Recap: Pioneer Comes Up Short

If Pioneer was feeling good fresh off their 46-26 takedown of Adrian last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pioneer Pioneers fell 44-37 to the Saline Hornets on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Pioneers in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost seven in a row.

Pioneer's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Saline, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Pioneer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saline, they will face off against Dexter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
