Volleyball Recap: Berea-Midpark Comes Up Short

Berea-Midpark was the 3-0 winner over North Ridgeville when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. While the Titans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rangers 25-16 in the first set.

Berea-Midpark took North Ridgeville into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-16, 25-19, 22-25, 15-11.

This is the second loss in a row for Berea-Midpark and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for North Ridgeville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Berea-Midpark will be playing at home against Olmsted Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Ridgeville, they will head out to take on Lakewood at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
