Baseball Recap: Piute Has No Trouble Against Altamont

Piute barely beat Altamont the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Thunderbirds put the hurt on the Longhorns with a sharp 22-16 victory on Saturday. The Thunderbirds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by six runs or more this season.

Piute got a massive performance out of Bodie Gayler, who got on base in five of his six plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Kyler Bunker was another key player, going 4-for-6 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
