On Tuesday, Old Town faced Mount Desert Island in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Old Town Coyotes came out on top against the Mount Desert Island Trojans by a score of 40-33. Winning may never get old, but the Coyotes sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Old Town has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Mount Desert Island, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Old Town will challenge Presque Isle at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mount Desert Island, they will face off against Washington Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
