Volleyball Recap: Vista PEAK Prep Starts Season with Win Against Prairie View + How To Watch

Vista PEAK Prep had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Prairie View Thunderhawks on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Bison sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row dating back to last season.

Vista PEAK Prep was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-17, 28-30, 25-23, 23-21.

Yasir Dickey was nothing short of spectacular: she had 28 digs and four assists. Those 28 digs gave her a new career-high.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vista PEAK Prep will face off against Gateway at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prairie View, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Skyview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
