Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Randle). Everything went their way against the Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos on Tuesday as they made off with a 27-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Buffalos: they've now won four in a row.

Cedrick McClintock made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with five RBI and two doubles.

In other pitching news, Jasen Gutierrez looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Randle is 7-3 when he allows at most one walk, but 6-8-2 otherwise.

Back at the plate, Randle got a massive performance out of Jaeden Humphrey, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Humphrey a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Cristian Elizondo, who scored six runs and stole a base while getting on base in all six of his plate appearances.

Randle's win bumped their record up to 13-11-2. As for Fort Bend Marshall, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Randle will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Buffalos: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
