 The Southington Blue Knights won the last time they faced the South Windsor Bobcats, and things went their way  on Wednesday too. Southington enjoyed a cozy  54-37 win over South Windsor. Given Southington's advantage  in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings  (they are ranked 32nd, while South Windsor is ranked 98th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 It was another big night for  Lily Cooper, who  scored 18 points along with seven  assists and six  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hannah Blanchard, who  scored 14 points along with eight  rebounds.
 Southington has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record  this season. As for South Windsor, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 8-12.
 Southington won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Conard at 6:45  p.m.  on February 15th. Conard and Southington are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. South Windsor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
