Volleyball Recap: Immanuel Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Immanuel won the last time they faced Washington Union and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers.

While Immanuel won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 27-25, 25-15.

Bennett Cords paced Immanuel's offense, picking up 16 kills. Cords got some help from Jackson Lloyd and his 28 assists.

Immanuel's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-9. As for Washington Union, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-19 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Immanuel is set to face off against their familiar foe Selma at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Washington Union will take on rival Fresno Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
