Volleyball Recap: Johnson-Brock Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Freeman, Johnson-Brock was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Washington County Tigers by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Daley Pelican paced Johnson-Brock's offense, picking up seven kills. Pelican got some help from Kinley Vice and her 23 assists. Kasie Knippelmeyer controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Johnson-Brock has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Washington County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Johnson-Brock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Valley Heights on the 27th. As for Washington County, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Axtell on the 27th.
