Basketball Recap: Aberdeen Comes Up Short

Aberdeen lost against Patterson Mill back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Aberdeen Eagles took a hard 45-29 fall against Patterson Mill. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rylie Madsen was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 boards for Patterson Mill. Madsen has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Abby Shertzer was another key player, putting up four points and eight assists.

Aberdeen now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Patterson Mill, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Aberdeen won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against North East at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Patterson Mill has already played their next match (against Bel Air), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
