Baseball Recap: Hawley Bearcats vs. Anson Tigers

Hawley came out on top against Anson on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run third inning. The Bearcats walked away with an 8-3 win over the Tigers. The Bearcats haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jesse Nieto made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). Nieto was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
