Basketball Recap: Leavitt Comes Up Short

Leavitt and Cape Elizabeth squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Leavitt had to settle for second. They fell 57-48 to the Cape Elizabeth Capers. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Capers earlier this season, when they won 66-49.

Leavitt's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Cape Elizabeth, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.

While Leavitt had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
